Those unfamiliar with the Seattle music scene in the early 1990s might not have heard the powerful sounds of The Gits and their lead singer Mia Zapata. After only one album, FRENCHING THE BULLY, Zapata was brutally murdered and the crime went unsolved for a decade. This documentary centers on both the band and Zapata's murder, creating a fascinating picture of a talented musician.
