This BBC production tells the story of Jack, son of JUNGLE BOOK author Rudyard Kipling. Jack is too shortsighted to enlist in World War I, but his father pulls some strings and, despite his disability, the boy joins the Irish guard, where he works hard to achieve success. When Jack goes missing during the Battle of Loos, his parents embark on a long and desperate search for the truth about what happened.
