This powerful, harrowing Iranian drama from director Hamid Rahmanian, based on several true stories and filmed in the chilling interior of one of Tehran's oldest prisons, follows Mansour, a convicted killer who struggles to get through each day as his execution is postponed again and again, since the victim's family--required by Islamic law to witness his execution--consistently fails to turn up at the appointed time.
