One night the manager of a fast food restaurant, Fiona, accidentally gets locked in a cold storage chamber. After a long and freezing night she finally gets out, only to realise that her husband and children hadn't even noticed she was missing. Gradually, Fiona develops an obsession for all things cold and icy: snow, polar bears, fridges, icebergs... Finally, she decides to set out on a quest to find a real iceberg, ending up sharing a tiny boat on the high seas with a deaf giant of a sailor, her husband hot in pursuit.
