Well I love movies, and that being the case, I love to discuss them. So I wanna talk action movies from the good ole Reagan Era.
The 1980's in my opinon the best decade for not just action movies but movies period. But anyway I just wanna see what the people have to say about the subject. For me the movie that was tops was Die Hard, it turned TV actor Bruce Willis into an Icon, and had Reginald Veljohnson in it, need I say anymore?.
But seriously to me it raised the bar and in doing so set standard for the genre for movies to follow. And not since Clint Eastwood's "Dirty Harry" movies did you find yourself actually rooting for the police, only in the movies!.
Well ther you go that's my choice, what's your's?

I gotta go with the Lethal Weapon series. The first two were released in 87 and 89 respectively. The total box office take from all 4 films is nearly $500 Million!!!
However, I like the John McCLane character better than Martin Riggs. More releastic if that's possible. lol.

Well the Chemistry of Glover and Gibson was key in all the success, but you have to remember Willis carried the franchise on his bacl alone. really.. But Riggs and Murtaugh where a dynamic duo. " Go Spit".. Classic!
