Evan Ross is an Norwegian-American actor and the son of American music entertainer Diana Ross and Norwegian businessman Arne Næss, Jr.

Evan started his career as an actor while in high school. His first major role was in the film, ATL, released in March of 2006, in which he co-starred with rappers T.I. and Big Boi. Ross received rave reviews for his role as a troubled teenager in Life Support, along with Queen Latifah and Tracee Ellis Ross, who portrayed Evan's elder sister in the movie and is his real life sister. Ross later co-starred in the biography, Pride, in which he portrayed a mentally ill, but good natured teen. Ross is involved in several other movies, including one with Cuba Gooding, Jr., and he finished a role in the indie film Life Is Hot in Cracktown. In an interview, Ross also mentioned that he is working on his own musical album.[citation needed] Currently, Ross is playing Hilary Duff's love interest in the upcoming 2008 comedy drama Greta. The film includes other notable casts of Ellen Burstyn, Martin Sheen and Ellen Barkin.
