The Return of Judge Dredd? Maybe

Word around the web is DNA Films, the folks behind "28 Weeks Later" and "Sunshine" want to send the comic "Judge Dredd" back into production despite the 1995 version being a complete disaster.

If Dredd actually makes it from pure speculation to actually gracing the screen once again, I’m certain we will not see Sylvester Stallone slobbering out ‘I Am the Law’ again. Chances are it would be yet another ‘Reboot’ comic book movie in the era of ‘Reboot’ comic book movies.

I would expect it to be a much darker film with a more serious lead since it would be a post ‘Dark Knight’ flick.
