X-Men Origins: Wolverine: When Will We See The Trailer?

November 25, 2008 - X-Men Origins: Wolverine won't be in theaters until May 1, 2009, but moviegoers will get their first real glimpse of the Hugh Jackman spin-off with the sci-fi remake The Day the Earth Stood Still on Friday, December 12.
20th Century Fox exclusively tells IGN that while the trailer will premiere in theaters a little over two weeks from now, fans will have to wait longer for it to turn up online or even on television. In short, the only way to see it soon will be to buy a ticket.
"We are so excited that fans will be experiencing it first on the big screen," a Fox spokesperson tells IGN.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is still somewhat under wraps, but is believed to be primarily set around two decades before the events of the first X-Men movie. The story will focus on Logan/Wolverine's violent past, including his early dealings with William Stryker -- the origins of the Cold War-era Weapon X supersoldier program -- and Victor Creed, who would soon become his nemesis, Sabretooth.
